NEW FORUMS (Aug. 23)
Since the General Forum was so crowded getting about 100 posts/day, we created new forums so that you read and discuss about exactly what you want. So, we have three new Forums called Peace&Prosperity, War&Strategy and Game Engine. Enjoy!

MORE CIVILIZATIONS? (Aug. 20)
Possibly yes! This was just posted on our forums, by Lt John:
Right now, the game engine supports more than eight total civs. So it will *most likely* be possible that scenarios can support more than eight civs.
However, we are working on AI and balancing right now, and don't want to promise any more than eight maximum civs (including your own) for the single player game at this point in time.
If all goes well with our new AI programming routines, we may increase the max number of civs in the single player game.

FEATURES, FEATURES, FEATURES (Aug. 18)
Lodi gathered info from various Lt John's posts on the forums, and we now have all the features pages together.

WORKING ON THE LAND (Aug. 15)
CtP will have a new system for land improvement, which will not be done with settlers, and Lt. John gave us some details about it on the forums.

MICROMANAGEMENT FEATURES (Aug. 14)
Activision's Lt. John posted some very interesting info on what CtP will offer in order to reduse micromanagement. These features will be optional so if you want to do everything in the game, you will.

ACTIVISION LISTENS (Aug. 11)
As you can see on the Site Forum(yes, Lt. John is a member of the CTP team :)), Activision is listening to our forums and to your questions and thoughts about the game, so... post!

A NICE LONG POST (Aug. 11)
Just read a nice long post by Peter Karpas, Product Manager at Activision, on alt.games.civ2. He talks about the general idea behind CTP, and the basic elements of the game.

CTP DEBUTES ON GENCON (Aug. 10)
Civilization: Call to Power made its public debute on this year's GenCon, which ended yesterday(Aug/9). If you were there, send us your impressions!

DECEMBER OR FEBRUARY? (Aug. 9)
Activision, on its official CTP site, says that CTP is coming this Christmas. On the other hand, if you go to Chips&Bits and do a search for 'Call to Power', you will find CTP listed to go out in February '99. Who do you believe? I certainly want to believe Activision. :) By the way, CTP is listed for $48.99

GAMECENTER ON CTP (Aug. 8)
Gamecenter has an inside look on CtP. I did not find anything I haven't read on other previews, except of the fact that the author sounded sure that CtP is coming this Christmas. Gamecenter promises to have a bigger preview later this month...

WELCOME TO OUR CTP SECTION! (Aug. 6)
Welcome to the newest section of Apolyton CS, devoted to Activision's upcoming Civilization: Call to Power. Taking the reigns of Apolyton's CTP section is Dan Quick. Stay tuned as this site unfolds into your ultimate fan source for C:CTP! =)

OFFICIAL C:CTP SITE OPENS (Jul. 28)
On July 27th, Activision opened the official site for Civilization: Call to Power. The site contains information on the game, it's features, it's units and some nice screenshots. The site's webmasters have stated that they plan to update frequently and to soon have a message board up & running.
